Places I have Visited

A fellow aviator and blogger, David Megginson has graciously created what might be one of the coolest and most fun websites that I visit.   This website is known as http://www.ourairports.com/ and with a quick and free sign up you can easily search for and mark all of the places you have visited.  In doing so you will recieve an interactive Google Earth overlay with the airport as well as it’s surroundings.  There are interactive maps, a commenting section as well as a cool info feed that shows how far North, South, East or West you have flown.

This website works equally well for Pilots as it does for Passengers.  Thanks David for making such a great site!

Here is a map that contains all of the places I can remember going.  It is fully interactive and you can zoom down to the tarmac level or up into space, all from the comfort of my own blog…

As a pilot, or frequent traveller I believe that you will find this to be a great place to spend some time and relive the memories of vacations long past.   Give it a try!
